tag:dreamwidth.org,2018-12-10:3462347 an e-anthology + journal mars_writes 2021-01-09T20:35:50Z tag:dreamwidth.org,2018-12-10:3462347:379 2018-12-10T23:45:53Z 2021-01-09T20:35:50Z brand new weird public 0 <p>hi dreamwidth! i'm new.<br /><br />my name is mars. i'm 26, queer, and spend my free time reading.</p><p>i'm a writer, but not fanfiction! i write originals. speculative fiction and everything that falls under that umbrella: i have a secondary high fantasy world but recently i'm doing a lot of modern fantasy stuff set in the state I&nbsp;live in, Maine. ghosts, blood magic, lovecraftian bogeys. i just finished a serial novella called NEWICHAWANNOCK that i'll be posting here and there. its stranger things + IT&nbsp;+ lgbtq+ with a river monster and a kid with a broken golden heart.</p><p>i do buttery soft scifi, too, and sometimes my fantasy dips into horror. <br /><br />but right now i'm working on another ghost story novella, FORSAKEN, featuring time travel, abandoned houses, rituals, and the powers of family.</p><p>i write poetry too, i'm @mars_writes on instagram. recently i've been dabbling with n-gram generators and collage. may post some of that.<br /><br />so i hope i can connect with some other original writers or fanfic writers or just cool + weird + interesting folks :)<br />&nbsp;</p><br /><br /><img src="https://www.dreamwidth.org/tools/commentcount?user=mars_writes&ditemid=379" width="30" height="12" alt="comment count unavailable" style="vertical-align: middle;"/> comments
